Good morning Mountaineers, Falls City School staff will be having mandatory meetings on Monday, October 7th, requiring students to be dismissed early at 2:30 PM. FACES staff will be ready and available to receive students. If your student participates in FACES, they will head there at dismissal time as usual. Buses will run at 2:30 PM when class is dismissed. We recognize this may cause a scheduling conflict for some families and wanted to give you as much notice as possible so that you can make any necessary arrangements. ~ Falls City School District

Join us for a friendly, informative 2 Hr. seminar on how to be prepared for Wildfire emergencies. Homeowners and renters will learn how to be "Defensible Space Smart". How to protect yourself, property, loved ones and pets. Understand, plan and prepare for evacuation levels, and how to evacuate safely. How to build a "Go kit", and inexpensive first aid kit. Basic First Aid discussion on Burns, Smoke Inhalation, and Heat Exposure. FREE Snacks! Receive One Free First Aid Kit, and One Free Fire Extinguisher per House Hold! URGENT: Dear parents and guardians, please return your REGISTRATION PACKET to the high school or elementary school as soon as possible. If your child is attending Falls City Schools but resides in another school district, you will need to start the transfer procedures again for the 24/25 school year. The district transfer needs to be approved by both superintendents before your child can be enrolled at the Falls City School District. HS Students: If you have a scheduling appointment with Mr. Kidd, please bring your registration paperwork with you.

The Falls City School District - District Offices will be closed July 3-5. We will be open again on Monday, July 8th.

Falls City High School would like to thank John and Calene, owners of Hamblin Nursery, for their wonderful donation of flowers. Their very generous donation was used to decorate for Kindergarten promotion, 8th grade promotion and our high school graduation. The flowers really added a unique touch to the ceremony and the colors matched our school colors perfectly. Thank you so much!

The HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION PACKETS were mailed out today. Included is the registration packet, a welcome letter and a self-addressed envelope that can be used to mail your registration back to the high school as soon as possible.
